The theme of these conferences is “Positioning South African business in the transition to a low carbon economy”. It is South Africa’s first climate change conference with a business focus where ideas presented will translate into action points for delegates.

Our goals for the Conference are simple, but bold: to raise awareness of the impact that climate change will have on business in South Africa and highlight the requirements and opportunities that exist in the transition to a low carbon economy. South African business is behind the curve in understanding and embracing climate change in its strategy. This conference aim to promote understanding of and the need for greater strategies in addressing climate change and, by doing so, strengthening the sustainability of the South African economy in the long term.
